China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Metallurgy Branch Delegation Visits Fengbao for Research and Communication

On October 14, 2025, a three-member delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Metallurgy Branch, led by Su Buxin, Deputy Secretary-General (presiding over work), along with advisor Wang Dinghong and Li Xinyu, Project Director of the Industrial Research Department, visited Fengbao Special Steel Group to exchange views on the company’s international development and the promotion of international trade. They were warmly received by Li Jingmin, General Manager of Fengbao Special Steel.

During the symposium, Su Buxin introduced the basic overview of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Metallurgy Branch and its future development plans. He expressed the hope that both sides would enhance communication and cooperation to jointly promote the international trade of Fengbao’s products.

Li Jingmin provided a detailed introduction to Fengbao Special Steel’s current international trade activities and shared ideas for future work. The discussion delved into the international market prospects of the steel industry, the impact of the China-U.S. trade war, and opportunities for international industry exchanges. Both sides also engaged in in-depth exchanges on the guiding role of the Metallurgy Branch in supporting enterprises.

Prior to the symposium, the delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the production facilities, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of Fengbao Special Steel’s practices in driving innovation, extending the industrial chain, and achieving high-quality development through transformation and upgrading.
