China Heavy Duty Truck and Fengbao Heavy Industry Deeply Cooperate and Fengbao Trailer Power Generation Axis Power System Grandly Released

On November 18,2025, China Heavy Duty Truck and Fengbao Heavy Industry Technology jointly launched a deep collaboration and the grand unveiling of the Fengbao trailer power generation axle system. At Fengbao Heavy Industry Technology by the Hongqi Canal, China Heavy Duty Truck and Henan Fengbao jointly opened a new chapter in new energy heavy truck transportation.

China Heavy Duty Truck and Fengbao Group officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, committed to building a regional influential new energy commercial vehicle industry application hub. Liu Zhengtao, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Heavy Duty Truck Group, commented that this is an inevitable choice for both sides to grasp the pulse of the times and implement the “dual carbon” goals, as well as a pragmatic action by China Heavy Duty Truck to serve the green transportation system construction in Linzhou with high-end new energy equipment and accelerate green transformation.

Fengbao Heavy Industry unveiled its “New Energy Trailer Generator Axle Power System” at the signing ceremony. General Manager Zhang Chaoxue explained that the system shares batteries with the main vehicle, enabling braking power generation to extend the main vehicle’s range. The hybrid semi-trailer assists during startup to reduce fuel consumption while also recovering energy through braking. Featuring lightweight design, cost efficiency, and seamless integration with the main vehicle, the system upgrades both hardware and software to drive continuous advancements in new energy semi-trailer generator axle technology.
