In November 2025, China’s monthly steel exports showed a renewed increase both month-on-month and year-on-year. According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in terms of exports, China exported 9.98 million tons of steel in November, a year-on-year increase of 7.6% , turning from a decline to an increase; from January to November, China exported 107.717 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 6.7% , with the growth rate rising by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month. In terms of imports, China imported 496,000 tons of steel in November, a year-on-year increase of 4.9% , turning from a decline to an increase; from January to November, China imported 5.541 million tons of steel, a year-on-year decrease of 10.5% , with the decline narrowing by 1.4 percentage points compared to the previous month.
