When the presentation of the “graphitized cathode + copper-embedded steel rod” technology, which reduces DC power consumption per ton of aluminum to below 12,200 kWh, was met with thunderous applause—this data signifies that my country’s electrolytic aluminum energy-saving technology has reached the forefront internationally. Even more exciting is the fact that anode system optimization and low-resistance material research and development have been prioritized for the next phase, providing a clear path for innovation for supporting equipment companies.
