Seamless pipe production and inventory in China continue to decline

The weekly production situation survey statistics of national seamless pipe factories (32 production enterprises, 110 production lines) showed that the output this week was 331,400 tons, a decrease of 13,400 tons from the previous week and 41,500 tons from the previous month; the capacity utilization rate was 72.01%, a decrease of 2.91% from the previous week and 9.02% from the previous month; the operating rate was 56.36%, a decrease of 0.91% from the previous week and 2.73% from the previous month; the factory inventory was 682,400 tons, a decrease of 17,700 tons from the previous week and 40,200 tons from the previous month; the raw material inventory was 286,000 tons, an increase of 5,800 tons from the previous week and 5,000 tons from the previous month.
