On August 15th, Linzhou Fengbao Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. held the second “Craftsmanship Convergence, Passing the Torch” apprenticeship ceremony for university students in 2024. This event is not only a celebration of skill inheritance but also a profound embodiment of our corporate culture and the spirit of the steel soul. Song Zhonghe, Chairman of the Fengbao Group Union, leaders from various employing units, mentors, and 39 newly recruited university students attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Xiao Yongzhong, Deputy General Manager of Fengbao Special Steel Group and General Manager of Fengbao Pipe Industry.
In his speech, Xiao Yongzhong nostalgically reviewed the company’s development journey and emphasized the significance of craftsmanship in driving corporate growth. He required all employing units to comprehensively grasp work performance, educational training, frontline experience, etc., ensuring full documentation, dynamic updates, and follow-up management. He also urged all mentors to diligently impart practical experience and technical expertise to facilitate the growth of university students. He hoped that during their on-site internships, the students would think based on fundamental principles, skillfully apply “systematic thinking,” “deep thinking,” and the “three-on-site analysis” method, transforming their tool application abilities into practical problem-solving skills. He expressed his wish that everyone would seize the opportunity, learn with an open mind, practice diligently, shoulder responsibilities, integrate theory with practice, and grow into pillars of the pipe industry at an early stage.
Song Zhonghe announced the list of mentor-apprentice pairs, with each pair’s names carrying the company’s expectations and trust. This list represents not only a transfer of responsibility but also an award of honor. He further emphasized that students should learn to be grateful and respectful to their mentors during the learning process; be good at learning and thinking; integrate knowledge with action and achieve something through learning. They should strive to become qualified Fengbao members and contribute to the high-quality development of Fengbao for a hundred years.
Mentor-apprentice pairing is not just a formality or a piece of paper; it is a responsibility and an honor. With craftsmanship converging and the torch passing on, we build dreams in Fengbao. As the “mentor-apprentice” activity continues to deepen, a large number of excellent university student employees of the company will, under the careful guidance of their mentors, refine their skills, grow rapidly, and emerge like bamboo shoots after a spring rain…
