On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, at 2 pm on the 15th, General Manager…
On June 29th, the Party Committee of Henan Fengbao Special Steel Group organized all party members to visit the Jinjiluyu Border Area Revolutionary Memorial Hall and the former site of the CPC Jinjiluyu Central Bureau and Military Region in Yetao Town, Wu’an City, Hebei Province. The event was themed “Remembering the Glorious Years, Building New Achievements in the New Era.”
At the memorial hall, all party members revisited their pledges, recalling their original intentions for joining the Party and strengthening their ideals and beliefs. They listened attentively to the explanations, read the informational texts carefully, and gained a deep understanding of the significant events and stories that took place in Yetao Town during the Liberation War. Notably, from March to May 1947, the “North China Financial Conference” was held here, which later led to the establishment of the North China Financial Office, recognized as the predecessor of the People’s Bank of China and the Ministry of Finance after the liberation. Additionally, the “Border Area Land Conference” was held from October 2 to December 26, 1947, to study and discuss the implementation of the “Outline of the Land Law of China.” This location is also where the People’s Daily was founded and the first volume of the Selected Works of Mao Zedong was printed. With eight exhibition halls and over 600 exhibits, featuring sand tables, landscapes, videos, oil paintings, and sculptures, the members not only felt the hardships and twists of the revolutionary years but also deeply ingrained the knowledge of party history in their hearts.
“The rich and profound content of this themed Party Day event allowed us to once again experience the blood and fire of the revolutionary years firsthand. We deeply felt the ‘Taihang Spirit’ characterized by ‘fearlessness, perseverance, unity, and courageous struggle.’ We will draw strength from this experience, remain dedicated to our duties, lead by example, and strive to excel in our roles. Using the ongoing Party discipline study and education as an opportunity, we aim to enhance our Party spirit, strictly observe discipline, and forge a diligent work ethic. With high work enthusiasm and exemplary conduct, we will influence and motivate our company’s employees to contribute to achieving the centennial goal of Fengbao!”
