At the debriefing meeting after the inspection, General Manager Li first expressed his gratitude to all the builders working on the provincial and municipal key projects. He then briefed the attendees on the current workplace safety situation, pointing out that the hot and humid season is a period with a higher incidence of accidents. He urged all units to remain vigilant about safety and to properly manage heatstroke prevention, safe production, and safe construction.
Based on the on-site observations he gathered and the reports from the specialized inspection teams, General Manager Li put forward the following requirements: First, summarize the findings from this inspection, cross-check them against issues identified in recent previous inspections, and issue written notices to the construction teams with a clear deadline for rectification. Second, the head of the Infrastructure Department is to convey the full inspection report at tomorrow morning’s briefing meeting; repeated violations found in future inspections will be subject to heavier penalties. General Manager Li emphasized that leaders at all levels must maintain a high degree of alertness regarding safety, show care and support for employees, provide good services, anticipate and prevent risks, and effectively safeguard the lives and safety of all workers.
